The 1 & Only Publishing was born from obedience.
It started with a dream. A woman approached Meme Mulugeta to say she was writing a book to help believers recount the works of the Lord in their lives. When Meme woke, the Holy Spirit affirmed that this vision would become central to her ministry. She didn't have the full picture, but she had the prompting. So she obeyed. Meme began writing a book of her own — her real experiences with God, paired with ideas to help others share theirs. Through every page and every step, she trusted the Lord to lead, and she held steady in her faith.
Then God revealed the next chapter. After three days of fasting and a spirit-filled women's conference, the assignment became clear: she was to build a publishing company that would help believers everywhere turn their testimonies into books, getting the works of the Lord into print and into the hands of people around the world. A week later, Meme was unexpectedly fired from her job. What looked like a setback was actually a door closing on distraction and a gateway opening to limitless purpose.
Today, The 1 & Only Publishing exists because one woman said yes before she could see the whole plan. That's how God works. He doesn't wait for you to be ready. He waits for you to be willing.

Our primary goal is to produce 555,000 books worldwide over the next decade, emphasizing God’s goodness throughout your life. These publications will be filled with testimonies that highlight the Lord’s faithfulness, enriching the lives of families, communities, and the world.

Our second mission is to empower the body of Christ to share their God-given gifts with the world.
