No, you do not. You have two options: you can continue the recording and explain what your error was. For example, you can say, “I meant to say the house was green, not blue,” or you can type any specific changes you want to make in the notes section of the recording.
Do I retain my book rights when publishing with The 1 and Only?
Yes, the copyright is in your name. You fully own the intellectual property when publishing with The 1 and Only.
If I decide I do not want to proceed with creating my book, can I get my money back?
Absolutely! If you choose not to move forward after making a payment and before the final draft is completed, you’re welcome to receive a full refund. Just keep in mind that once your final draft is finalized, we’ll gladly provide you with your intellectual property, but a refund won’t be possible at that stage.
Do I need to sign up for all your services to get my book published?
Definitely not. We operate as an a la carte company, allowing you to choose the services you need and pay only for what you use.
Will you help me market my book?
Our website features a bookstore where you can showcase your book for up to 3 months! Just a quick note: it will need to be in eBook format. Plus, we have a lovely YouTube channel where guests are invited to share snippets from their books if they’re inspired to do so.
